just a quick question. got my new xm819 rim on xt hub yesterday which looks great.
was just wondering is it ment to tic, i know pro 2s do but my deore never made a noise and just wated to check the prawls wernt too dry befor iv even started.

They are silentish, can often hear a slight ticking with some.0

well just set up wheel and its not pro 2 but i wouldnt call it silentish.
is it likely to cause any problems or will i be ok?0 -
The newer Shimano hubs have more engagement points, so it will make more noise than older ones. Dont worry!0

the new xt775 hubs have 36 engagement points, mine ticks but not terribly loud though. wonder how much a xt775 freehub replacement will be when that throw away part dies in the future?0

does'nt look like crc has the xt775 freehubs in stock yet to me? hopefully a few more points of engagement won't mean more ££0
