Without a doubt this is a major weakness of mine.

Looking at the Joe Friel taining bible there are three things that make a good cyclist. Endurance, speed and strength.

I can 'comfortably' ride 100 miles under 5 hours, and I have got good leg speed from riding fixed comforatbly riding at 130 rpm.

I just havnt got the ability to push a big gear or ride into head winds, my skinny legs havnt got the muscles!

So should i head to the weight room or is there a more 'fun' way to get good leg and back/core strength. Would I be better off riding a big gear on my fixed compared to the 63'' I ride at the moment, or would that crucify my knees?

Any ideas?
