26" skinny rims & tyres
edited September 2007
Can anyone recommend 26" skinny rims & tyres for my Dahon Cadenza?
I find the supplied wheels heavy and censored and need to build some new ones on Deore hubs.
My favouritre skinny tyres are
Specialized All Conditions Pro Folding 26x1.0
, fast, grippy, puncture-proof, inflate to 125psi (rim permitting).
Conti GP 1" slick is good too.
If you run high pressures then you could do with a rim which can withstand the hard environment. The X618 is/was double-eyeletted and good for this, but I'm not sure they make it any more. There may be an equivalent newer version.
