Anyone know of any routes round Murcia in Spain?
Im going near there next saturday

    Sorry missed your post, but yeah, Sierra Espuna, Cresta Del Gallo, El Valle, all close to Murcia, Catagena Parque Calblanque. Where are you staying? I live about 45 mins from Murcia.

    gutted!!! there are so many tracks round there! but i didnt have a bike
    i was near Mazarron? you know it?
    cant wait to go back with my own bike
    the state of hire bikes is awful somebody should get some decent bikes and make a decent business out of it-i would.

    Yep lots of good riding to be had in this part of Spain, but it´s always overshadowed by Sierra Nevada. I know Mazzaron well, not far from me. Have a look on this thread:

    if you want to rent a bike. But it´s no bother to bring your own. If you ever come over, feel free to get in touch. Just bear in mind how hot it gets during the summer, we do all our serious rides from September on, and even now it is still in the low 30´s.

    well next year we should be back around that area, maybe more towards benidorm :( and i will take my bike then as my new one is lighter and i didnt have it at the time of my hols :(
