XC route near melrose

A bunch of mates are heading down this way in Sept. Looking for a circular route to keep us occupied for best part of the Saturday. Any suggestions??
We'll probably check out Glentress on the Sunday for a bit of fun.

    Minch Moor and the 3 Brethren from Selkirk is a good 'un-you could ride to Selkirk via Rhymers' Glen and cauldshiels Loch from Melrose, or over Gala Hill and up the SUW to Yair Bridge.

    I'll check out your suggested route on the map. Do you have a rough idea how long the route is?

    Just under 40 miles-I did a slightly shorter version and it took me me 7 hours, so it'll definitely be a full days ride.
