    Carrera Limited Edition TDF

Full suspension - King of the forest!

If anyone rides in Sulham Wood give me a shout :).

Avoid the Viper, go for the Mongoose Tyax Elite, it's a far better bike for the money.

  • ma mates just bought a dawes xc1.6 and its a really good entry level hardtail. mbuk reviewed it recently too, and gave it a 7/10. also look at some GT Avalanches, or Aggressors (available from Halfords). i have a GT Aggressor XC3 '07 and it is a really good bike. am well chuffed with it. halfords have a sale on aggressors at the mo too so b quick if u want 1

Do any of those bikes have a damped fork?

The Tyax does, which makes it a far better ride, rather than a pogo stick!

By all means try loads of bikes out, but for the money the Tyax has the best spec in the sub£300 price range.
