which brake lever will fit my drop bars?

I would like to fit a bmx/mtb style front brake lever on my fixed which has drop down racer style handlebars. II think I will have a problem sliding it around the bend to the centre of the bars. Is this going to be a problem or will it slide through? Something like a tektro mtb lever, or avid mtb lever. Any other suggestions for brake levers (Im not interested in a stubby goldfinger).

    you could try a cross lever. i have a Salsa one on one of my fixeds and it has the clamp over design so you don't need to worry about running it round the drops. mine are about three fingers worth, tho have to say i am perfectly happy with the goldfinger jobby on my other fixed.
