You may have heard that a new site is on the way - http://www.bikeradar.com . Not only will it be the world's best source of bike and gear reviews, news, results and routes, it will also have the best forums on the net.
The good news is you won't have to re-register on the new forums so you will keep your current username*. Post counts will also be carried over from the old forums to the new one. If you have posted on more than one of Future's cycling websites, we will carry over your highest post count. So for example if you have 100 posts on Pro Cycling and 700 on Cycling Plus we'll carry over 700.
We will be carrying over existing posts to the new forums. But unlike the current system where all posts are lost after a month, meaning sometimes that valuable information is lost, the new system will archive all posts.
You will have the choice to see both mountain bike and Road forum sections, or specify mountain biking or Road. In fact, you will be able to select favourite sections from each of the forums if you choose.
The Road forum will largely be the same as the current Cycling Plus forum, with the addition of a few sections from the Procycling forum.

*In the event of duplicate user names we will contact users to re-register
Please note; that you shuld NOT go to the other forums now to register your username so you carry it over to the new system - this is likely to cause problems when we are migrating the data. So if you're registered as JoeSmith on the MBUK forum, don't go to the C+ and WMB forums to register JoeSmith.
