In today's "The Daily Telegraph"
A biography of Millar is being published next month.
"In Search of Robert Millar", by Richard Moore, Harper Sport, œ15.99
The author managed to track Millar's e-mail address down and interviewed him that way. Seems the guy was true to his word, make enough money on the bike, then just disappear. Apparently "e-mails to friends and former colleagues have confirmed he's alive & well and hinted at a gently festering retirement in warm and sunny climes"
Should be interesting, the article mentions his being defrauded (What other way can it be said!) of the Vuelta in '85 (OMG, that long ago, I am getting old!)
I think this could be a good bit of summer holiday reading.
Cheers
Adam
