It's a bit of an image thing. While Rapha make very good jerseys (I have some), I think it's the œ350 kit bag, and other expenive sundries such as shaving kit and journal (the prices of which were so sky high I have expunged them from memory!) that alienate some cyclists, and raise accusations of style over substance...

I am very disappointed that I can't find the Rapha toilet roll at my local Sainsburys. My poor old buttocks have had to make do with common old Andrex - the puppies on the print don't compare to a turtles head.
Money saving tip - buy the toilet roll instead of the journal, you get more to write on. If your ride is crap why bother to log it just flush it away!0 -
