Eurosport.com reports:
German authorities are planning to compare Jan Ullrich's DNA with blood sample seized from the offices of Dr. Eufemiano Fuentes during last year's raids as part of the Operation Puerto doping investigation.
(there's more on the Eurosport website)
If this goes ahead (and if Ullrich is in fact guilty), I reckon the rest of the cheats are gonna get rumbled...

You're probably right. But what happens if it's not his blood? Say they do get DNA, but it't not his. That would mean the code attributed to Ullrich during the investigation was incorrect and that must throw the entire case against Ullrich into doubt?
For what it's worth, I think Jan has no hope. But I'm wrong often.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
You're absolutely right. But of course all these accused cyclists can so easily clear themselves by insisting on DNA tests. How many have done? If I was Ullrich and I was innocent, getting a DNA test done would be the first thing...but of course I'm not, and maybe he's just feeling paranoid and persecuted!
