Maybe Ellis was climbing the 43m Sierra Nevada (page 102) and that's why the article ended so abruptly - he got there too quickly, or perhaps he transmogrified into Carlos Sastre as Ivan Basso did in the photo on page 112!

I know you must have had a hard time about the missing page so I won't go on.
