What is going on with the world, that these pastimes are seen as acceptable?

Gardening is a pleasant pastime,(just ask Sean Yates),canal boating is big in Venice, (and you get to wear a striped shirt and a funny hat),and bowls are good for your muesli in the morning. That said, none of these other endevours has either a warring sanctioning body nor a doping problem (unless the gardeners are growing special herbs), so there is very little media interest.

It has to be golf for me,a good walk spoilt,you would have more fun with a potato and a walking stick,was going to say synchronized swimming but couldnt spell it[:D]
