Slicks for a MTB

Hi All

Im doing the Manchester to Blackpool cycle ride next sunday and I was thinking about fitting Slicks to my MTB to make ride easier....

Good idea / bad idea ?

Rlick will make it a hell of a lot easier to ride on road. Look into spesh fatboys.

Yeah its 99% on road....one small section near Heigh hall in Wigan were you go over hard packed soil path......so sounding like slicks are good idea....
