There is a nakc to doing it. Just fiddle untill it will fall off in your hand. Try pushing teh two parts against eash other.

Aye, I struggle with mine, sometimes works straight away, sometimes takes 10 mins and lots of bad words! I hold it both sides with a rag and push it together. Lots of force doesn't really help, just twist it around a bit and say please ( please please please pllllleeeeeaaaassseee come apart!)[:)]
If its a nice warm day and you're in no hurry it usually comes apart easily.If it's wet and you've just been for a ride, you're soaked and tired and hungry and cold and have numb fingers, it generally takes about half an hour!

LOL, I took mine apart for the first time recently as well.

Easier to bloody install one than seperate the thing after.

Just keep trying to push them together and eventually it will happen.

Hold the powerlink between your thumb & 1st finger, squeeze them together & then slide apart.

Well that works for me!

I had trouble with mine the other day so i sprayed a little WD40 onto it and it came straight off

I have a link thats a flat golden plate that has a double pin link it snaps onto, not the 69 style, haven't a scooby what its called nor how to split it with out bending the thing.
