Fox RPL knocking

streako

During suspension travel my rear shock is making a knocking sound, which is quite annoying.
It still feels smooth, but I'm sure the noises aint right.

Does it need a service?

I had the same problem with a Fox float I purchased from CRC. On the first occasion after 6 weeks they replaced the shock as it was making a light metallic knocking noise, I am now waiting for the second replacement as I have had to send it back again.[:(!]
I hope this one lasts longer

Hi Streako, i dont know if this is related but when i sat on my bike with the brakes applied and rocked the bike back and forth, there is a hurrendous knocking sound, but i traced it to the brakes, im not sure if i should return mine too??
