need help remembering name of a film

during a discussion last night can anyone remember what film has the sequence where an arrowhead formation is made from hundreds(loads) of trucks? starting off in a single lineconvoy then going to 2 across then 4 and so forth,

I thought it was convoy, but apparenlty not as we watched that last night, now i'm thinking it may be one of the smokey and the bandit films.

mmmm can't remember.

i remember it was in a very large area like the salt flats or something like that. I have a feeling that there where police or something at the other side of the area.

any ideas are great cause i can google from there and find the answer

i think they line up to let bandit drive off a cliff, across their roofs and up onto the otherside of a large flat canyon

Smokey and the Bandit 2. First you only see a single truck in the desert, then 2 more appear, one each side, then 2 more appear, and so on. Yeah, it's got the canyon bridge bit.

It's classic. Bandit tells the Snowman he shouldn't have come back on his own to help. Snowman passes the word and one by one all the other trucks peel away showing there are in fact loads. Then Smokey gets what's coming ...
