Has any one been to one of these one day sales which are advertised in the back of MBR there is one in newcastle on 7th of july i wondered if it is worth going

if they have something that you want then they can be a deal. BUT when i went to one 10 years ago (about) i was not that impressed. ok for standard parts consumables iirc.

Went to one last year. Loads of cheapo rubbish at bargain basement prices. What quality stuff was there wasn't particularly discounted. Better deals to be had at your LBS or online I think.
