calling all saracen owners
So what if they don't make the best bikes in the world, some off their bike are/have been quite good. Anyway, I'm looking to setup a website that is dedicated to Saracen owners and their rigs and wanted to know if there were any ideas for site content. I do have some of my own, but am looking for anything that I haven't though of yet. If you have any ideas and pics of your bike, please send them to lee@downhillsheep.co.uk

How abouyt a classified section?
To be honest my œ140 saracen coped ok with me riding it for nearly a year off road and i only upgraded things when they broke. i wouldn't exactly call myself a fan and if i had more than œ200 to spend i'd rather have a mongoose or trek or GT or Claud Butler or Falcon or Scott or Giant0 -
Not all saracen are that bad!
MMM kili flyer...then again I've only ridden Xiles!

kili flyer is a superb bike the carbon version is just amazing, i rode one once and didnt want to give it back, but hey ive had some saracens in my time and tbh they were fun bikes which were more than up to the job, but it also depends on how you service and look after your rides too
ride it hard and keep it fun!!!

Did you not get the hint from the reaction on the MBUK forum that this is, perhaps, not such a good idea?

whatever happened to the days when it didn't matter what bike you rode just as long as you were out there doing what you enjoy?! Obviously, most of you (exc. those who actually had something constructive to say - thx)have your heads stuck so far up your backsides that any rig that isn't made by either Specialized or Santa Cruz or Cannondale, etc, etc just isn't good enough for your little group. Frankly, I don't give a damn what you think of Saracens, or any other bike by that matter, I love my Kili and I love riding!! Oh by the way, the reason I couldn't afford a more expensive bike (not necessarily better equipped) is that I just got a brand new M3 BMW!!!!0

Right, have you collected all your toys back up again and got them back in pram? Good, then i will continue.
Noone is ragging on Saracens per se, more the idea of there not being enough (if any?) demand for a website devoted to them. Especially as there appears to be a website already set up for Saraen owners.
By the way you dont win a prize for a) having a M3 BMW or b) putting 4 exclamation marks after the fact.
Laters.

I'm just a little peeved that on one could offer any decent advice and instead, basically took the p***. Anyway not bragging about the car, just letting people know that I would have bought a better bike (in your eyes) than the one I have now. Anyway, thanks for all your help, much appreciated. Now, I'm going back to pram as my toys have all been picked up now0

As I said on your MBUK topic; the Kili bikes are dead nice. But who is going to join up to a website and talk about Saracen bikes, considering that 90% of them will be eithere stock bikes (dull) or crappy œ500 fullsus bikes from the 90s? Its just not a viable concept.
