hi All

after burning out my pads in somerset i noticed they had not worn out evently, so spent a while centreing calipers for new pads, only it seems the pistons are not moving out and retractingly at equal rates on each side. I gave them a careful wipe down while fully extended (with no pads) to remove grit etc, and bit of mineral oil (by way of lubrication) and pushed them back. Am i deluding myself that i can have totally symetrical pad wear with out forking out for XT/R? should i give in and shift the calipers slightly? as at the moment they just rub as one side is permanently out by 1 or 1.5mm
Is there a secret? (except new brakes)

Cheers, i know its not the end of the world, but its one of those niggly little things...
