Only been using CRC for appx 1year,never let me down yet and i have bought a lot off them.Iv had 100% good service.

CRC's after sales 'service' is appalling. I'm now only using them when I have no alternative.

BTW - for non urgent, bulk orders I can recommend www.actionsports.de They deliver very efficiently and are ridiculously cheap e.g. last Wed I ordered a set of Lyriks, SRAM X9 shifters & mech, Hone crankset, FSA Pig DH Pro headset and a few other bits & bobs and they were already at my work this morning, and for only œ640 including delivery! Fantastic.

Never had a problem,with either.CRC is generally cheaper.

I have used both. Merlins are good aswell. You usually find one or another has deals on most of the time, so shop around.

I use both regularly. 100% happy with both. I've not had to return anything to either of them but CRC dealt with my delayed (by Citylink [:(!][:(!][:(!]) order very quickly and personably.

Merlins also very good, especially when they are offering free delivery (which is strangely important to me psychologically). I generally shop around those three for the cheapest price on what I want; things have to be a lot cheaper for me to buy from a random online shop (which does still happen occasionally).

If I had an LBS worth a damn within an hour's drive of me I'd be happy to support them!

I personally feel CRC are quicker and a bit cheaper.

Whilst I do have bike shops within close reach always found that the service isnt waht it could be

Used both in the past, CRC tend to be that little bit cheaper, never had any after service issues either

I placed my first order with Wiggle the other day. The package arrived the following day and the "free" sunglasses that they forgot in that box followed the day after. If anyone wants a referral (I think they're still doing the free sunglasses for orders over œ50) lemme know.

I've used them both loads of times. I normally choose CRC unless Wiggle are cheaper as they tend to be a bit quicker.

Merlin are my favourite online shop though. The delivery time is superb, they've been very helpful when I've spoken on the phone and they are actually cheaper than the big boys quite often.

I use both equally, i can backup that CRC service is a bit lacking if anything goes wrong....but they are cheap and have free delivery and 95% time its fine.

I tend to use CRC more than Wiggle as I find them a little cheaper, except for Shimano products.

I've never had a problem with CRC's aftersale service, if I have had to make an exchange, the new item has always arrived by return of post.

CRC are okay but when I ordered a helmet from them the other week it arrived 6 days later in a package that looked like it had been booted round in an 300 ppl per team inter-village football match(photo's to prove). I thought 'oh no! here we go...it's been trashed and I'll have to send it back'. Fortunately by some minor miracle the 'Giro' box had saved the helmet, just.

I ordered a chain cleaner from Merlin online yesterday afternoon and it arrived this morning! How good is that! considering it was sent first class and for free p&p I find it hard to fault them.

crc are very quick to diliver. There prices are also very good. Though you cna sometime find bits and bobs cheaper else where so do look around.

That's quicker than I've ever experienced with CRC...most times for me it's a 2-3 day'er. This might be my bad luck with CRC's order handling rather than postman pat, or a combo of both.

With my Giro helmet I ordered it as an in stock item > got acknowledgement of shipment 3 days later > package arrives 3 days after that. Hopefully that timescale won't happen on a regular basis for me and that it was just a one off (especially the very bashed up packaging).

packaging is probably the couriers knowing someone who works for a courier company and hearing the stories I'm surprised anything ever arrives in one piece

Always use CRC. Stuff has always arrived the next day, and when I've returned stuff I've either had full refunds or replacements immediately.

Have to admit with Wiggle sometimes even on priorty why if you order at 2.05 you dont get it next day if all in stock is beyond me
