hi
Just looking into investing into some baggy shosrts but dont know which ones to choose. I want some baggy shorts that are:

Water/shower proof
Comfortable on long bike rides

Not too pricy

Thanks

I believe there's a review in this month's WMB. But feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I dont know about showerproof or waterproof, but quick-drying is more likely.
As long as you go for a padded insert and get the right fit then they should be comfy. I like loads of pockets aswell.
Shop around to get a bargain, especially in the sales.
A good compromise is lycra cycling shorts with a pair of baggy footie shorts over the top.

I just bought some Endura Singletracks, and after riding them in our current soggy weather i can say they are waterproof....teflon coated or something, the water just runs off them.

I'd recommend Juggernauts from Ground Effect (NZ website only shop). They're very comfortable, tough and light - not the cheapest, but worth it0

Zyme shorts are water quick drying. Think they have some sort of teflon coating. They don't make your eggs sticky after a long ride! hehe

If you are after value for money you won't do better than Decathlon, just purchased a waterproof pair, two pockets (one zip), liner and padding, all for œ9. I've had named pairs, spent œ40+ in the past and there really is no diff, apart from a name IMHO.
