US based online bike stores

I'm off to California a couple of times over the next few months and thought that this would be a good time to buy myself some new toys for my bike [:)]

Could anyone point me in the direction of some good US based online bike stores (will get the equipment delivered to my hotel or the office) so I can make the most of the strong pound and bling up my bike for cheap [:D]

consider sales tax and importation duty if you're buying stuff over there, to bring back.

Sales tax is a given (I'm out in the states quite frequently) but I've *never* had to pay import tax on anything I've brought back through customs myself and I've brought a fair few things back over the years...

if you are putting your new bits in a suitcase i would doubt that you would get chagered import duty to be honest,

yeah, because a metal post looks great in a scanner thing [;)]. But it is worth Buying things like Thompson Posts over there/... apparently!

I've bought lots of clothes in the Us before,taken the tags of,then worn them home.Not sure this approach would work with bike components though,unless you were into wearing big jewellery.

TBH you could just buy them from an importer like aspire velotech, worked a charm and was really cheap.
