Following the Plora Craig thread, has anyone cleared the whole of McMoab at Kirroughtree without dabbing?

It would be hard, but not impossible I reckon...

Not a fecking chance have I got anywhere near clearing it...I am sure I have seen a video of someone doing it though although that was ages ago and I have no idea where it was hosted...might have been youtube

Not impossible, but near impossible.
I'm sure it's doable, but would require an outstanding level of fitness, balance and nerve. I've done fairly large sections of it in one go, but have had to stop before my lungs/heart made a break for freedom!

I might be going there again on Saturday for a day trip...if I manage to stay on my bike for more than 3/4 of it I will be happy never mind bothering about dabbing

Dabbing is just putting one of your feet on the ground but not coming to a stop. Kind of using your foot for balance rather then keeping both feet on the pedals.

I've done McMoab without dabbing.

Okay, so there were about 3 or 4 proper falls but nothing that would count as a 'dab'.

Ah dabbing....i dab all the time when my panaracers fill up with mud and just slide down muddy slopes[:D]

I cheated on McMoad [:D] I did it in about 3 sections and took breaks, but I managed to avoid alot of dabbing by just mashing my pedals onto the rocks [:D] Needless to say I ruined a few pins, but it was fun not to have to take my feet off!

Can't wait to get back an try it again.
