Disc Brakes

Prays the Lord and Pass the Biscuits! I'm back in town and looking to get hold of some Disc Brakes for my Scott.
Whats good on the market at the moment? I will be buying in the states and getting my sibling to bring it through next time she is over.

XC rides and roads.

Hope ae good though shimano xt are really good. What riding do you do?

From the states you will get best prices on Avid and Shimano I would have thought. The new XT or XTR brakes would be ideal.

I'd definitely recommend XT's. I have them on my hardtail and full suss and don't think I'd change them for anything else. Good stopping power, good modulation, easy to set up and very little maintainance required. What more could you ask for?

Bob, good to have you back.

I have just bought a set of XT brakes, and I have to say they are the best bike related purchase I have ever made.
Excelent power, very easy to set up and cheap at œ125 of wiggle.

I got the same set from wiggle a few weeks ago, like everyone has said good brakes... but now I've gone and bought a new bike !!

So the XT brake set is for sale... ridden 1/2 dozen times but perfect condition, even still got all of the packaging!!! Yours for 80 quid !! Including the mounts I needed, that you may also....
