Do you know where Endcliffe Park is?
I'm planning to do a road ride starting from there. The Sheffield-Esteli Society run.
While i'm asking. I've got a broken finger so i've got to do it on a set of tri-bars. Any ideas how I can use both brakes with one hand?

Do know much about it, apart from its to the south of the town centre!
Hmm, broken fingers. I have seen modified levers to allow both brakes to be operated from one lever. Not sure how that would work in your case - maybe some mod with a BMX gyro cable splitter?

Run it as a fixie then use back pedal for rear braking

Well, it is in that they both wish they were Irish0 -
Frankie you're a genius. I've just borrowed a fixie and i'm fitting a set of tri bars to it tonight.
Now all i've got to do is work out the gearing I need. Apparently there's quite a few hills around Sheffield. This rides only 50 miles yet most people apparently take 5-7 hours!
Therefore either everyones very slow, there's some MAJOR climbs or there's an hour or two stop for lunch?
(I do so hope it's the lunch stop)0 -
not lucky enough to have a flipflop hub on the fixie are you? You could leave your options open till the day.
Incidentally, what is your back pedal braking like?

I used to commute on a fixie so I'm quite used to riding one. This is why I know the hills are really going to hurt (and not just the up-hills!).0

good enough, and you will look rockhard riding a fixie. oooh, just thought, with no rear brake you can't even unclip on the down hills!
