bike cleaning

hello
just got back from a very muddy ride
Wifes got her washing on the line as its been ****ing down all weekend
I deciede to use the hose and have the bright idea to spin the wheels and rinse the tyres which then transfered all the mud to the washing.
She is not amused to say the least
It looks like the pub is my only option as im really in the doghouse

what makes it worse is my bike is still dirty
cant get to grips with this cleaning lark its a jet wash at the local garage i think

You'll have to stay clear of any of the bearings. (hubs, bottom bracket, suspension, headset).

Yes, A car jet wash could easily destroy your hubs.
