For brakes, 6 quid on ebay roughly for a full set. Will need to cut to size though.

Yep, they should do! The outers are pre set lengths, on the long side, so still may have to trim, and certainly would have to cut the inners.

Save starting a new topic any thoughts on ultra cheap wheels for my hack bike 26 inchers dont need to be strong as they are not going to be used off road not need for disc hubs either.
basically i want the kind of wheels you get on appollos in an ideal world freehubs but im not picky.0 -
The wheels you find on these bikes cost nearly the same as some of Merlins cheaper builds!
Ebay have some good ones cheap.

Finally rigid forks again on a tight budget. Any thoughts on these, i know they arnt the best but they arnt being used for anything heavy all they need to do is hold the wheel in place :P
