Hi,
After 6 months of riding my first bike (Rockhopper Disc), I have decided that I would like to go for a double bouncer. I have a budget limit of œ1000 (and that's pushing it!).
After quite a bit of time on the net the last couple of days, I have narrowed my search down to the Marin Alpine Trail 2006 or the Kona Dawg Deluxe 2006 which are available for œ900 and œ1000 respectively.
I would really appreciate any of your experiences with either of these bikes or any recommendation for any other suitable full suspension bikes under œ1000.
Cheers

Both are good value bikes, especially now reduced. Specs are similar, but the fork on the Marin is a different league to the cheap Zocchi. Suspension sytems vary too, so you must go and test them. Many found the 2006 marins high and nervous to tide.
