Could anyone please help and point me in the right direction between the Claude Butler Cape Wrath D27 or the GT Avalanche 1.0, both 07 models?

Have you tried using the search fucntion on this site, both bikes commented on lengths, tons of info!

Best thing to do is to try the bikes. Both are well equipped and well reviewed, the GT maybe the slighter tougher machine.

Hi & Welcome

Plenty more bikes in this price range worth considering, as SS says the search function will come in helpful.

IMHO the GT would have the better upgrade potential, better frame, where as the the CB has a slightly better spec
