Hi I have a Scott Scale 50 (just bought) I have just noicted (to late now) the the head set is to low down for when i ride. I have the seat high up as i'm 6ft 2-3 and have long legs but i have to bend over when riding and its uncomfy, looks stupid etc.
Is there a way i can lift it up so i dont have to bend as much? Thanks
Headset
Ritchey OE 1 1/8" semi integrated 44/50mm
Handlebar
Scott X-Rod 600mm/ 5 bend
H'stem

Hi, I just replied to your post in the beginners thread! Headsets sometimes have spacers under or above the stem which can be swapped over to adjust stem height. Check out Park Tools on how to do this (and adjust a headset). However in your case i think you will need a higher rise bar or stem.

Hi thx for the reply and the info. I know there is 2 spacers underneath and dont think you can add any more. I'll def check out park tools (where do i find this, sorry to be a pain)
Thx for the info [:)]0 -
if there are not any spacers above then you are stuck with buying a higher rise stem and or bar.
parktools site link can be found in both somics and my sigs. click on the words below.
