It depends on what was actually said,where and how bad the pains are(have been).I think dialating aorta`s happen generally at a later age,but then there is peritonitis and other possibilities.When will you know?

Well he's back! They just took blood. Ultrasound scan of the aorta is a 6 week wait! Trying to push it through. Hopefully its just stomach acid lol.

How old is he?? V. unlikely to be a AAA if he's a similar age to you. If the surgeons have organised an outpatient USS they don't think it is that either. Nor do they think it is anything else life threatening. Anything else of interest in his past??
