Or you could try Dogpile.co.uk.
This searches through all the big engines at once- Google, Yahoo, Livesearch and Ask all in one go. I have used it for years and its great.0 -
www.everyclick.com not a bad search engine but it does allow you to donate to a charity without dipping into your pocket. Every time you do a search money is donated to your chosen charity. Working for a charity myself we all use it and the money comes back to our charity! Genius. If you use it and have problems finding what you want you can just type in google ect and use google.0

hahaha
the only way not to let nasty people get your info, is to not exist.
every credit or debit card transaction leaves a footprint, every web search leaves history, every email is tracked by mi6. everyone is watching your actions.
why, is there stuff on your computer you'd rather the world didnt see?

The A-Level business paper I have just done was on Google.
This is of no use to the thread but I thought it was relevant.

Another metasearch engine that uses loads of search engines, but allows you to be selective of which ones, is IXQuick. It's not bad.

It's true that wherever you go you may leave a data trail, but it is your choice whether you use a debit/credit/loyalty card or a search engine that treats you as a mere source of information. You can try to minimise your trail as much as possible, Knowledge is power so why give 'them' more information than you need to?
You may have nothing to hide but that doesn't stop you from putting up net curtains in your window does it?0
