just bought a giro animas from crc,the fit is fantastic but i look like a mushroom and cant live with it,cant decide between a hex and a xen to swap it with,but what colour is matt sepia

I've got the xen and its great, but the hex is cheaper and has been airflow and is not as hot as the xen can get.

Try it on first, I hated the Xen, didn't feel right at all (but I might have a funny shaped head!). I bought the Fox Flux instead, but the "wing" my not be to everyones taste..... Much better fit.....

the giro animas was a perfect fit i just looked wierd,i have a long thin face and the helmet was like a big lump on top,as i said i looked like a mushroom,i need a helmet that wont be as big on if you know what i mean,a more low profile.

I have a Giro E2 that I use for commuting, very comfy helmet. Thats why I was suprized the Xen didn't feel right. I'm pretty sure that most helmets have a similar thickness of material. Maybe a full faceone like the Met Parachute, but I personally wouldn't bother, no-one looks at your helmet errr, as it were... ahem!

im under no illusions i will look good in a helmet but that animas looked that bad it was ridiculous,problem is locally no-one seems to have much stock so think i will order a xen see how it goes
