Freshen up time

I fancy using my bike for the 8 mile commute to work a couple of times a week. Storage at work isn't too much of a problem but washing is. By the time I've completed 8 miles I'll be a sweaty, smelly mess [:I]

As there are no shower facilities at work, just a toilet/locker room with a washbasin, does anyone know of any products/techniques I can use to have a wash on arrival and avoid spending the day in an exclusion zone![xx(]

Baby wipes? Swipe one under your pits, round your meat & two veg etc... Works for me when I go camping.

yep i do the same but use a sink and the paper towels already provided. i don't tend to sweat much though, being a lady. a little beading on the brow is about all i get.

as its all down hill on the way to work, i just need to top up the deoderant, plus i can shower at teh gym at lunch.

Get a pack of wipes with tea-tree oil in them as this is an anti-bacterial. It's bacteria that makes you whiff.

Do you have a disabled toilet at work that contains a basin!? You can get a flannnel and have a wash there?

Alternatively, make friends with workers from a nearby building which does have washing facilities and clean up there! ;-)

She's right there. One of the positives of having a baby. The negative is obviously what you usually clean up with the baby wipes (although that does come in handy of you run out of lube).

I'm sure I remember posting something on here about 'no-water' chemical / enzyme shower in a can type things ages ago, soon after i joined i think

Haha - PMSL @ Cazz for the 'Meat & two Veg' comment.

And, until you have children, you won't understand how useful baby wipes can be.

Our kids are 6 now - but we still get through a lot of baby wipes

i cycle to work and there's no shower, i just have a wash in the tiniest sink going and mop the floor afterwards. no-one's complained yet that i smell!
