Answer needed ASAP- grease

Hi all,

Quick answer please, is lithium based grease (Castrol MS3) the right stuff to stick in my pedals?

Isn't that more for nut n bolt threads etc? Probably wrong. I use Park Tool PolyLube 1000

I use teflon stuff on my pedals but that dosen't mean its right.

For the bearings themselves I use a teflon grease, the type of tube that should be used with the grease gun I don't have.

Itd depends on where it's going. lithium grease is normally thick, water proof and great for most metal parts. However, it's not the best stuff to put on rubber seals / carbon.

ive just put some 'cycle grease with teflon' on my pedals, it was red, got it from Go Outdoors, its made by Weldtite

not sure if its the correct stuff but im sure it wont do any harm

Lithium grease should not be used on non moving parts, it dries quick and will bond the pedals to the crank. All round teflon grease good for all bike parts.
