Well just got my saving head on as I had pretty much settled on the 2007 GT I-Drive 5.0 for later in the year when the prices should hopefully drop. Then I go and find this: http://www.bikemagic.com/news/article/m ... 88/v/1/sp/

These are rather lovely to a GT fan like myself, may have to plan on saving some more.

The bottom bracket floats on a linkage off the swing arm, and is connected to the main frame via a strut.

Basically as the suspension compresses, the BB moves in relation to try and minimise the influence from the pedals.

Zaskar Carbon Team is 20.8lbs, a pound lighter than the same priced Scott Scale 10, but a pound heavier than the SCale LTD which is 500 quid more.
