I'm looking to organise a trip for 15 to whistler next summer. has anyone stayed anywhere really nice and friendly or got any tips? I'd like to do it independent if possible to avoided being fog marched round and lining someone else's spockets,

My mate spent 2 years there as a ski and snowboard instructor, and cleaning chalets.
much mischief and fantastic party scene. we practically had to drag her back. you'll love it.

Whistlers sick man, its an amazing place, although i have only ski'd there, Whistler is booming with top restaurants, bars and most of all amazing peaks. Skiing into whistler village, you can see the big wall ride by raceface and the crazy northshore winding through the trees, get out there ASAP, i envy you.
PS Whistler village is quite expensive for accomodation and that, try and stay in whistler creekside.0
