Hey all, simple question, can you remove the poploc from a 07 426 coil Pike?
Reason, i want to buy one, and i want a black one, but i can only find black ones with poploc, and im not too keen on poploc [:p]
Cheers,
Rob

i take it that means you can take it off then? [:D]
If so, can you still manually turn on the loc via the fork leg?
Cheers,
Rob

well the poplock is just the bar mounted lever. this is used to activate the compresion damping. there are 2 basic types. the spring loaded and the friction, the spring loaded has to be used with either the basic poplock or the adjustable poplock the friction compresion part has a bigger diameter blue knob and has no means of attaching a wire. both can have internal or external floodgates. and the are both easily swapable.

I think they are removable but you have to play with the internals slightly as otherwise without the poploc, the spring will just snap the compression damping to full or off (I can't remember which)... Maybe send an email to RS.

TBH if you have bought them out the box to fit i think the poploc is not fitted initially to the Pikes..
