i have XT short cage... i MUST have the new 08 XTR....... AGGHHHH

yup the new shadow (based on XT shadow) 08 XTR, it also has a LOT stronger return spring in the trailing arm to prevent chain slap (al la SRam)

how does a hanger banger stop a mech getting pushed into the spokes?

how does not allowing the mech hanger bend stop the mech from getting trashed?

ahhhaa i'm glad you asked nick...

it doesn't [:)] it just stops me hitting tree stumps on the mech the hanger is the first thing to hit the stump [:)]

they don't make a huge difference it just hits the logs / stumps before the mech and protects the mech in event of bail off's [:)]
