right, who wants to come out for a ride in or near Alton, Hampshire on a fairly regular basis?
i've just taken stock of my new bike and would like to meet up with others for some fun.
i am happy to put the bike in the car to travel a little further in order to meet up with others.

Well, I suspect that if you were a roadie, our fitness levels will be leagues apart, so I may well not be the best cycling partner. However, besides me I know several forum members who regularly get out to the Surrey Hills, which shouldn't be too difficult or far for you to get to from Alton. I suspect there'll be a fair few who'll respond to this thread suggesting Swinley Forest too. Either of those fit the bill at all?

We're not too far away in Godalming either, more than welcome to join one of our rides VCGH. There's also Meon Valley MTB club as well, though their site is still under construction, so you might have to drop them an email.
