Kona hoss 06 ?

I Have just ordered a kona hoss 06 and over the past few days in which i have being awaiting its arrival i am slowly begining to wonder if i have made the wrong decision. I was looking for a bike that could do a bit of xc,jumps,drops,singeltrack and just basically all mountain so i was wondering if there are any better bikes around there for the œ600 mark,or i would like to know if i have made a good decision?[?]

not really, the hoss is aimed at the larger lad though.. plus 15st.. but i rode one @ 13st all over afan...

shocking bad shocks but most bikes have unless you spend a bit more..

well i only weigh about 10 stone,but would this not mean that the frame will beable to withstand a lot of punishment?. www.konaworld.co.uk

the big problem with it is that it does not like more than 100mm forks. i would look at something else. and not really from Kona.

would the hoss beable to take 130mm marzochi all mountain 3 forks or would it ruin the geometry

problem with Kona's are you've got to spend at least 1500+..... if you compare a Kona model with competitors around the œ800 mark they simply aren't competitive in component spec

ok so the bike has arrived and i must admit the spec is not great but all i really need is new forks,maybee cranks and various smalll components. Anyway her are my initial ratings for it:climbing-7,descending-8,singletrack-9/10. I know some people will disagree with this but it feels so smooth,comfy,easy to control and fast on single track it's so fun hopefully more enjoyable once upgrade because there is nothing wrong with the frame.[;)]
