disc brakes

Ok guys hope you can help 2 yrs ago got mrs an appolo mtb all we could afford at time its got front tektro cheap disc brake now all of a sudden its started to rub on the disc as we spin the wheel... question how to i adjust the brake a little to stop it rubbing. Thanks in advance (Note to self get a copy of bike maitenance by zinn)[:)]

first check that there is no play in the hub.

I can't belive you've not had to adust them in two years. Don't you adjust them each time you change the pads / fit a new cable?0

in 2 yrs the bike has not been ridden that much just generally around the local park. nothing extreme you understand!0

ok in that case i would take the bike out for some serious brake use. that should sort it. if not you could have a sticky piston that just needs freeing up a bit.
