hi everyone,
recently got into mtbing and took a trip to hamsterly forest last week with my girlfriend. we r both inexperienced but took a run round the skills loop and loved it. followed this up with the green and then a bit of random riding.
i was wondering if you could reccomend any other places closer to newcastle where we can go out and have fun learning to ride our bikes! we liked the way it was so clearly signed and easy to follow the routes-is there somewhere else similar with less travel time?
i know there are some forests etc but i wondered if its quite hard to navigate your way around if you are not familiar with them?
thanks

Once you really get into it, you just stop doing all the other sports so we'll see you sooner than you think....
;-)
Trust me, I'm a doctor!
