No one seems to know anything about these fellas in britain: www.canyon.com They seem to make some rather tasty mtbs and sell direct from the factory theyre made in in germany, not in shops at all, meaning great prices, only problems being no try before you buy and a month wait to get the bike so they can build it for you. Check them out, i did and bought a yellowstone, one of their entry level bikes and its head and shoulders above anything else for the price out there, apart from squeaky avid threes!

I thought about getting one of the full sussers but i couldn't be bothered faffing around with the german taxes and getting it delivered. Though they are an awesome spec for the money. Full xtr and sram xo with 160mm front and rear travel for onlt œ2000 [:o] brill if you can be bothered. Also you can't test them [:(]

Seems to be the problem, hardly anyone reviews them either coz it takes months to get one, even to a magazine. They do seem to try to be a top flight company, but keeping the prices down by cutting out the middle man may be their downfall. Mines basic, but better than twice the money would get me new in a shop, still not met anyone else with one!

Yeh i agree they shoudl get them selves in some mags then more people my buy one [:D] and get a UK importer.

Look very good value, but frames are an unknown quantity, and style and geometry is very 'euro xc racer'.
