Advice & info on C2C route
Hi, I'm planning a trip next year C2C with a friend, St. Bees to Robin Hoods bay off road as much as possible with the intention of camping along the way, originally we had a different route and itinary planned but we have now settled on this.I have picked up some guide books/maps etc. and got some really useful info from sites on the net. I'm just looking to pick up some trail advice and useful route info, tips & gear etc. of anyone who would be willing who has done this trip before possibly under these conditions. I would be greatful as long as you don't mind me contacting you to pick your brains.
Kind Regards to all

I posted this link on another feed earlier but thought it worth reiterating in this chatroom. Yuu can download the GPS route for free from Active Fuel.

Most of the info you need - what to take, fitness, travel info, where to stay, bike shops, useful contacts and of course full route guide as well - are in the Coast-to-Coast Route Guide Pack. You can order it from most book shops or get it on line at http://www.mbruk.co.uk/mbruk_CoastToCoast_details.htm

Hi,
i've done the off road version twice now, and have a GPS route (basically the Tim wood***** route) PM me if you want any info on any bits....it was a few years ago last time i did it, but i can pretty much remeber most of it. We just travelled light and bivvied out on the way.0 -
Hi,
could you give me some idea of what proportion of this is off road (hopefully nearly 100%), i've been thinking of doing something similar for some time and this looks ideal.
thanks0 -
