Heres a question, if im riding a bike with 80mm fork travel, what is to stop me fitting longer tavel forks, 120 or there abouts? I mean if the travel is going up by 50mm but the overall length of the fork is going up by only 20mm or so, then apart from changing the geometry very slightly is there really gonna be a great deal more stress on the head tube?
making it all up as i go along
