Home garage trueing & dishing wheel possible?

Any tips for home garage trueing and dishing? In a moment of madness I undid all the spokes last night in a bid to true the wheel and then realised this will also affect the dishing. Now the tyre/rim sits almost on the disc side frame. T1ts.

Cut a dishing tool from cardboard
Just measure distance from hub axle to hub axle and rim should be centreld on half way between them
Drop wheel into frame and centre it on seatstem
Lots of ways

Little far then, unless you fancy a long drive this weekend
The guide suggested above is well worth it. PM me if you need help or advice

Madmole,
Many thanks for the offer, I may actually take you up on your offer in the near future if it still stands. Heathrow from here is about an hour, which is nothing if I can learn such valuable info.
Cheers.

Fozzy/Madmole,
Called the LBS earlier to see how soon they could do it, if my own attempts proved ineffective. They were busy, but said I could go and use their workshop to have a go and see if I could do it myself. How good is that! Full Park Tools array and the stand. Have got it as close to true as I can laterally, and within 3mm radially. It has been on the bike for over a year now so I guess can't expect 100%.
Have just downloaded the wheel-building PDF too, although it's now œ8.50.

did you pay for it? or "got hold of a copy"? because he spent a lot of time making that manual. [:)]

Top one that man!...
it's a great manual and it's not to bad to read.. spoke to the guy myself and know quite a few people who have ordered from him (inc minimole from here). It's nice to see he has started building wheels again...
