Neighbour's bike

Just been having a squiz at the neighbour's bike as he left it in the garden. No idea what it is as the frame has no decals at all, but the cable routing looks interesting. Has V brakes with the rear brake cable routed through (rather than along) the top tube and the rear gear cable routed through the down tube. I don't think he has any idea about bikes so might offer him a swap deal (œ20 plus my Bonty Crowbar) as he has Easton Monkeylite carbon bars on his bike. Took a couple of pics which I'll post later when I get to my house. Anyone have any idea what HT frames have internal cable routing?

I might even offer him a complete swap.... my Reebok POS and a few quid for the whole bike. The V brakes are XTR and the gearing (only rear gearing with single front ring) is OLD style XTR. Looks like a nice bike for a refurb project

The older Kleins did route cables through the down tube but you'd be going back to the 90's for that.

That's very similar routing, but the head tube is fatter in the middle, becoming thinner at the contact points with the headset

The newer Kleins have headtubes like that, can't find a picture or a year for one that has both the down tube cable routing as well as the fatter head tube though.
