50% underwater

Our ride tonight, over Blanchland Common, was at least 50% underwater. And we're not talking about small puddles here, we're talking tyre deep to stanchion deep. Singletrack was turned into rivers, literally. There were massive puddles (20-30m) long with hub deep water. It was basically one long river crossing.

Visibility was 10m in places and it poured down. But it was so much fun! Carrie giggled most of the way round and everyone had a smile on their muddy wet faces.

...you don't get that at trail centres!
